Butt Weld Tee

A butt weld tee is a type of pipe fitting used to create a branch connection in a piping system. It is designed to connect three pipes of the same nominal size in a T-shaped intersection. The butt weld tee gets its name from the method of installation, which involves welding the fitting to the pipes. Butt weld tees are commonly used in a variety of industries, including oil and gas, chemical processing, and power generation. They are available in a range of materials, such as stainless steel, carbon steel, and alloy steel, to suit different applications and operating conditions.
